Director of Human Resources (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Areas of responsibility include the Human Resources Department, Recruitment, Payroll and Employee Risk Management. The Director is also responsible for the long and short-term planning of these areas to ensure regulatory compliance, competitive compensation and benefit programs, current/trend-setting information systems and employee safety. Ability to administer a self-insured insurance plan preferred. Strong critical thinking, effective analytical skills, and problem solving abilities required. Ability to manage competing priorities, multi-task with results oriented outcomes and work in a fast paced environment. Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff. This position is required to utilize independent judgment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Emphasis in Human Resources, Business and Psychology preferred. Certification preferred.
Experience: Must have a minimum of five years of Human Resources management.

RN – MedSurg – (FT) Nights
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment of patients of Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Must follow and enforce accepted Safety practices for patients. Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Good communication skills with ability to notify physician and/or ambulance if necessary. Must demonstrate competent nursing skills. Must demonstrate leadership through fair delegation of duties. Must be capable of serving as a charge nurse.
Education: High school diploma or GED. An Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an approved state school of nursing.
Experience: At least six (6) months clinical experience preferred but not required.
License/Certification(s): Valid Arkansas State Nursing license and current BLS certification. ACLS and PALS certification is acceptable and will be required by the sixth month of employment.

X-Ray Technician (PRN) & UltraSound Tech (PRN) – 2 Positions
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases in various imaging modalities with proficiency. Must have ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Technologist is required to display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatric through geriatrics. It is the responsibility of this individual to follow all Federal and State regulations applicable to Diagnostic Imaging Services.
Education: Must have completed the curriculum of a recognized school of Radiologic technology, certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health.
Experience: Prefer one year of radiology experience, but will consider registry eligible graduate. CPR certification is required.
License/Certification(s): Arkansas State licensure, ARRT.

MT or MLT – Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (FT) or (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) The staff medical technologist will perform various chemical, microscopic, bacteriological, and immunological tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensure that the Q.C. and maintenance is performed as appropriate. Instruct new technologist, technicians. Assist with trouble-shooting instructions as appropriate. Assist in requisitioning necessary supplies, reagents and blood components.
Education: Must have associate degree and be a graduate from an approved school of medical technology. Must be registered as a medical technologist by the American society of clinical Pathologists or be registry eligible.
Training & Experience: Training accomplished in an approved school of medical technology required. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

Dietary Aide (FT) (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for washing pots and pans; assist in the cleaning operations of the patient, resident and cafeteria trays delivered to the dish-room area. Does cleaning assignment as required by cleaning schedule. Acts as back-up helper for tray lines during meals
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must have high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous dietary experience is desirable but not essential. On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the hospital/nursing home and the dietary department.

Housekeeper (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for cleaning Lawrence Memorial Health Services, which includes: Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center and Family Medical Center.
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, follow instructions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Some experience is helpful, but not required.


Marketing Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Conducts patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the system. Responsible for managing the referrals and admissions that are generated through their assigned hospitals and territories by representing the facility with professionalism to referral sources. Designs and manages the marketing strategies for their assigned hospitals. Conduct one on one contacts with potential referral sources, maintain positive relationships with current referral sources. Utilizing educational opportunities to present the facility to referral sources. Identifies, contacts and manages potential clients. Sources potential, appropriate patients for facility. Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families and outside agencies. Acts as liaison for outside agencies, non-plan facilities and outside providers.
Education: High school graduate with a current active license in clinical field and a valid driver’s license.
Experience: Minimum of two years of marketing/admissions experience in health preferred.

RN (FT) (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care. Serves as a role model in clinical skills and leadership. Promotes good public relations for the nursing division and Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must be a registered nurse with at least one year of recent clinical experience. Must possess and demonstrate clinical knowledge and confidence in chosen clinical area. Prefer experience in geriatric nursing.

POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care.  Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills.  Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: New licensed practical nurse graduate or previous experience as a nursing home charge nurse with an interest in geriatrics.

CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant (FT) (PT) 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Performs various duties assisting in the care of residents as assigned by the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.  Promotes good public relations for the unit and the nursing home.  Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.  Must have completed an organized nursing assistant training program or equivalent.  Must be certified by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must have worked as a nursing assistant within the past year.  Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Hostess (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for providing accurate and timely food service to meet residents’ needs, in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to withstand long periods of time on your feet. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
Experience: On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the nursing home and the dietary department.
