LAWRENCE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Patient Account Rep – Lawrence Hall Business Office/Home Medical (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) The Patient Accounts Representative has the responsibility for ensuring physician orders for completeness, code orders for billing, review of medical record from physician/hospital to ensure medical necessity documentation, complete prior authorizations, follow-up on aging accounts, work with patients on billing questions, assist with front desk when necessary, research and refiling claims if necessary.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
Experience: Medical billing experience is required. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private

Dietary Aide (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for washing pots and pans; assist in the cleaning operations of the patient, resident and cafeteria trays delivered to the dish-room area. Does cleaning assignment as required by cleaning schedule. Acts as back-up helper for tray lines during meals.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must have high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous dietary experience is desirable but not essential. On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the hospital/nursing home and the dietary department.

Housekeeping (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for cleaning Lawrence Memorial Health Services, which includes: Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center, Family Medical Center, Rehab Services, Lawrence County Specialty Clinic and Home Medical Equipment & Supply.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write, and do simple arithmetic. Needs mechanical aptitude and ability to follow oral and written instruction and work with limited supervision.
Experience: Worker needs four weeks on the job training under direction of director to require skill and versatility to perform satisfactorily.

LAWRENCE HALL NURSING CENTER
Social Worker (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Assist patients, families and/or caregiver in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to health problems. Responsible for liaison with any agency providing services to residents, liaison between this facility and families of residents. Must consult with members of medical and nursing staff, document all emotional and social needs. Participate in the development of treatment plan by working as a team member, utilizes community resources, participates in the discharge planning, inservice programs and acts as a consultant to the agency personnel.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possesses bachelor’s degree in social work; or two years of social work supervised experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals; or similar professional qualifications.
Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in health care preferred.

RN (FT) (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care. Serves as a role model in clinical skills and leadership. Promotes good public relations for the nursing division and Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must be a registered nurse with at least one year of recent clinical experience. Must possess and demonstrate clinical knowledge and confidence in chosen clinical area. Prefer experience in geriatric nursing.

LPN (FT) (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care. Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: New licensed practical nurse graduate or previous experience as a nursing home charge nurse with an interest in geriatrics.

CNA (FT) (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Performs various duties assisting in the care of residents as assigned by the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Promotes good public relations for the unit and the nursing home. Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have completed an organized nursing assistant training program or equivalent. Must be certified by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must have worked as a nursing assistant within the past year. Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Hostess (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for providing accurate and timely food service to meet residents’ needs, in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to withstand long periods of time on your feet. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
Experience: On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the nursing home and the dietary department.

Hospitality (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for providing quality service to meet residents’ needs, in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
