LAWRENCE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

RN – MedSurg – (FT) Nights
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment of patients of Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Must follow and enforce accepted Safety practices for patients. Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Good communication skills with ability to notify physician and/or ambulance if necessary. Must demonstrate competent nursing skills. Must demonstrate leadership through fair delegation of duties. Must be capable of serving as a charge nurse.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED. An Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an approved state school of nursing.
Experience: At least six (6) months clinical experience preferred but not required.
License/Certification(s): Valid Arkansas State Nursing license and current BLS certification. ACLS and PALS certification is acceptable and will be required by the sixth month of employment.

Ultrasound Tech – (PRN)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary)Under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of the department director, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment of patients of Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Must follow and enforce accepted Safety practices for patients. Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Good communication skills with ability to notify physician and/or emergency department if necessary.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum of an Associates degree in an allied health field required. Candidate must meet requirements for registry by the Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. RVT certification or eligible for RVT certification required..
Experience: Three to five years of experience preferred. Sufficient working knowledge of the different phases of ultrasound the operation of assigned equipment.

Dietary Aide (FT) & (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for washing pots and pans; assist in the cleaning operations of the patient, resident and cafeteria trays delivered to the dish-room area. Does cleaning assignment as required by cleaning schedule. Acts as back-up helper for tray lines during meals
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must have high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous dietary experience is desirable but not essential. On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the hospital/nursing home and the dietary department.

Housekeeper (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for cleaning Lawrence Memorial Health Services, which includes: Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center and Family Medical Center.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, follow instructions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Some experience is helpful, but not required.

Patient Access Registrar (PRN)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of patients, ensures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are made aware of hospital policies and procedures.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
Experience:  A minimum of one (1) year experience in a health care setting preferred.

LAWRENCE HALL HEALTH AND REHABILITATION

RN (FT) & (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care. Serves as a role model in clinical skills and leadership. Promotes good public relations for the nursing division and Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must be a registered nurse with at least one year of recent clinical experience. Must possess and demonstrate clinical knowledge and confidence in chosen clinical area. Prefer experience in geriatric nursing.

LPN (FT) & (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care. Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: New licensed practical nurse graduate or previous experience as a nursing home charge nurse with an interest in geriatrics.

CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant (FT) (PT) 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Performs various duties assisting in the care of residents as assigned by the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Promotes good public relations for the unit and the nursing home. Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have completed an organized nursing assistant training program or equivalent. Must be certified by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must have worked as a nursing assistant within the past year. Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Hostess (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for providing accurate and timely food service to meet residents’ needs, in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to withstand long periods of time on your feet. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
Experience: On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the nursing home and the dietary department.
