LAWRENCE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Lawrence Memorial Hospital opened in 1960.  Since that time, there have been several expansion programs. Services now include x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), consequential tomographic scanning (CT scan), laboratory, respiratory therapy, stress testing, electrocardiography (EKG), electroencephalogram (EEG), surgery and anesthesiology (GI Lab), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, sleep disorders testing, Home Medical Equipment & Supply, Family Medical Center, the Lawrence County Specialty Clinic, and a 24-hour physician staffed emergency department. Our mission is to provide personalized health services in a safe and caring environment.

Radiology Director– Full-time  

POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for the development of technical policies, execution of technical procedures, technical supervision of personnel, supervise the care and maintenance of equipment, implementation of infection control and quality control measures, participate in the facility performance improvement program, compliance with national and local safety standards, maintenance of administrative records, participation in education programs, and participation in personnel function within the department.  The areas of direct responsibility are Diagnostic, Fluoroscopic, File Room, Special Procedures, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Mammography film tracking.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must have successful completion of an accredited school of Radiologic technology, preferably with a bachelor’s degree.  Must have a current Arkansas state license.  Must have certification by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologists and maintain this certification while employed at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.  Must be CPR certified.
Experience: Three years of broad diagnostic experience in a hospital based setting; previous supervisory experience preferred.

CT/X-Ray Tech-Radiology (PRN) & Weekend Option (Full-time) Positions

POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases in various imaging modalities with proficiency.  Must have ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with demonstration of ethical and professional conduct.  Technologist is required to display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatric through geriatrics.  

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must have completed the curriculum of a recognized school of Radiologic technology, certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health.

Experience: Prefer one year of radiology experience, but will consider registry eligible graduate.  CPR certification is required.

$500 Sign-on bonus for Full-time!!  RN – Emergency Room – (FT) & (PRN) Nights
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) To provide professional care while assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of Emergency Department patients, by providing direct and indirect care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with a minimum of supervision. To triage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with Emergency Department physician about changes in patient’s status, symtomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience:6 months RN experience in an ER setting is preferred.
License/Certification(s): Current Arkansas RN license, BLS certification. NIH, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certified within 6 months of hire.

$500 Sign-on Bonus!! Medical Lab Technician (Weekend Option) (FT) 
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) The staff medical technologist will perform various chemical, microscopic, bacteriological, and immunological tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of disease.  Ensure that the Q.C. and maintenance is performed as appropriate.  Assist with trouble-shooting instructions as appropriate.  Assist in requisitioning necessary supplies, reagents and blood components.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must have associate degree and be a graduate from an approved school of medical technology.  Must be registered as a medical technologist by the American society of clinical Pathologists or be registry eligible.
Experience: Training accomplished in an approved school of medical technology required.  Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

Dietary Aide (Part-time)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for washing pots and pans; assist in the cleaning operations of the patient, resident and cafeteria trays delivered to the dish-room area. Does cleaning assignment as required by cleaning schedule. Acts as back-up helper for tray lines during meals

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must have high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous dietary experience is desirable but not essential. On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the hospital/nursing home and the dietary department.

Housekeeper (Part-time)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for cleaning Lawrence Memorial Health Services, which includes:Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center and Family Medical Center.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, follow instructions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Some experience is helpful, but not required.

POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care. Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: New licensed practical nurse graduate or previous experience as a nursing home charge nurse with an interest in geriatrics.

RN Supervisor- Full-time, Weekend Option and PRN Available

POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care.  Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills.  Must be able to supervise the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Arkansas.
Experience:  Previous experience as a Nursing Home Charge Nurse or Supervisor with an interest in geriatrics.

$500 Sign-on Bonus for Full-time!!  CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant (FT) & (PT) 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Performs various duties assisting in the care of residents as assigned by the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Promotes good public relations for the unit and the nursing home. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have completed an organized nursing assistant training program or equivalent. Must be certified by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must have worked as a nursing assistant within the past year. Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Hostess (Full-time)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for providing accurate and timely food service to meet residents’ needs, in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to withstand long periods of time on your feet. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
Experience: On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the nursing home and the dietary department.

Hospitality Aide (Full-time)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for provides support to direct care staff to meet residents’ needs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to withstand long periods of time on your feet. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
Experience: On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the nursing home and the dietary department.
