Staff Accountant (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Ability to understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles is required. Responsible for preparing journal entries, detailed reports and account reconciliations.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required.
Experience: One to two years experience as full charge bookkeeper or accountant is required.

Director – Emergency Department (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Development of technical policies, execution of technical procedures, technical supervision of personnel, supervise the care and maintenance of equipment, implementation of infection control and quality control measures, participate in the facility performance improvement program, compliance with national and local safety standards, maintenance of administrative records, participation in education programs, and participation in personnel function within the department. (Hiring, counseling, evaluating and terminating) Reports to CNO.
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved State School of Nursing and currently licensed in the state of Arkansas.
Training & Experience: Preferably will have two years clinical experience, with one of those years being in med/surg medicine. Candidate would ideally have one year of supervisory experience. Must be ACLS and CPR certified.

RN – Emergency Department (FT & PRN)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) To provide professional care while assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of Emergency Department patients, by providing direct and indirect care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with a minimum of supervision. To triage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with Emergency Department physician about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Education: Has completed an approved high school course of study or the equivalent thereof; and is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holds a diploma or certificate there from; and is currently licensed in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Up to 6 months RN experience desirable.
Licenses/Certificates: Current BLS certification. NIH, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certified within 6 months of hire.

Med Surg RN (FT Nights – 36 Hrs/Wk)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment of patients of Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Must follow and enforce accepted Safety practices for patients. Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Good communication skills with ability to notify physician and/or ambulance if necessary. Must demonstrate competent nursing skills. Must demonstrate leadership through fair delegation of duties. Must be capable of serving as a charge nurse.
Education: High school diploma or GED. An Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an approved state school of nursing. Will also consider an LPN for this position if currently enrolled in RN classes.

LPN – Family Medical Center – (FT Days)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for the therapeutic care of patients. Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills. The LPN promotes good public relations for the clinic and organization while maintaining patient confidence. Must be able to perform appropriately in crises situations. Needs ability to communicate effectively within the organization and project a positive attitude. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: At least one year experience is preferred. Experience in clinic nursing helpful.

Patient Account Representative / Business Office (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) It is the responsibility of the Patient’s Account Representative to make sure all insurance claims assigned to them are edited, corrected as needed and filed to the appropriate insurance company in a timely manner. Patient’s Account Representative will make notations in each patient account that has been filed, what was filed and when. Patient’s Account Representative is responsible for the follow-up of all insurance claims they have filed.
Education: A high school degree or equivalent is preferred. Previous hospital experience desired.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a health care setting is preferred. Demonstrated proficient computer, written and verbal communication, telephone and customer service skills.

MLT – Medical Lab Technician (PRN)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) The staff medical technologist will perform various chemical, microscopic, bacteriological, and immunological tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensure that the Q.C. and maintenance is performed as appropriate. Instruct new technologist, technicians. Assist with trouble-shooting instructions as appropriate. Assist in requisitioning necessary supplies, reagents and blood components.
Education: Must have associate degree and be a graduate from an approved school of medical technology. Must be registered as a medical technologist by the American society of clinical Pathologists or be registry eligible.
Training & Experience: Training accomplished in an approved school of medical technology required. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

Dietary Aide (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for washing pots and pans; assist in the cleaning operations of the patient, resident and cafeteria trays delivered to the dish-room area. Does cleaning assignment as required by cleaning schedule. Acts as back-up helper for tray lines during meals
Education: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Must have high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous dietary experience is desirable but not essential. On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the hospital/nursing home and the dietary department.

X-Ray/CT Tech (Weekend Option)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases in various imaging modalities with proficiency. Must have ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Technologist is required to display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatric through geriatrics. It is the responsibility of this individual to follow all Federal and State regulations applicable to Diagnostic Imaging Services.
Education: Must have completed the curriculum of a recognized school of Radiologic technology, certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health.
Experience: Prefer one year of radiology experience, but will consider registry eligible graduate. CPR certification is required.
Licenses/Certifications: Arkansas State licensure, ARRT.

Housekeeper (FT) & Janitor (FT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for cleaning Lawrence Memorial Health Services, which includes: Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center and Family Medical Center.
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, follow instructions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Some experience is helpful, but not required.

Nursing Assistant (FT Days)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Assist patient with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit and the LPN assigned to the patient.
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, follow instructions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) months experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: BLS preferred within six (6) months of hire. Annual successful completion of skills competency checklists.


RN (FT) (PT)
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care. Serves as a role model in clinical skills and leadership. Promotes good public relations for the nursing division and Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must be a registered nurse with at least one year of recent clinical experience. Must possess and demonstrate clinical knowledge and confidence in chosen clinical area. Prefer experience in geriatric nursing.

POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care.  Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills.  Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
Education: Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Experience: New licensed practical nurse graduate or previous experience as a nursing home charge nurse with an interest in geriatrics.

CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant (FT) (PT) 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
POSITION PURPOSE (Summary) Performs various duties assisting in the care of residents as assigned by the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.  Promotes good public relations for the unit and the nursing home.  Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.  Must have completed an organized nursing assistant training program or equivalent.  Must be certified by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Must have worked as a nursing assistant within the past year.  Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
